Ericeira is more than a surf town. It is the kind of place that quietly changes your routine, your pace and often even your priorities. People come here for a few days and suddenly stay for weeks, months or sometimes much longer. Between ocean mornings, long dinners, local cafés, cliff walks and creative conversations, there is a reason why so many digital nomads, surfers, creatives and remote workers end up calling this place home. My plan was to stay here for a month but the moment I arrived at Wild Souls Coliving I knew that that wasn’t gonna happen.

When I was designing the kitchen at Wild Souls, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted it to be. I grew up in a house where my mom and stepdad loved to cook — they built a kitchen big enough for the whole family to be in at once, friends and all, everyone bumping elbows while something good was happening on the stove. It was always where the evening ended up, whether that was the plan or not.
